Bird watching at Mt. Tabor Park

Audrey spent Sunday morning in Mt. Tabor Park with some of her preschool friends looking for and learning about birds. Her preschool teacher Karma is really into birds, and organized the outing. The kids did see the usual suspects (crows and robins), but other sightings included a song sparrow, a Buck's Wren, a Dark-eyed Junco, a turkey vulture, an American Goldfinch, and a Northern Flicker. They also made some birdseed treats for birds and had a scavenger hunt in the park.
